Dislocation Strengthening is part of the Strengthening Mechanisms courses. Strengthening Mechanisms are part of the Ferrous Metallurgy set of courses. In this course, the work hardening will be explained. Then, the plastic flow will be related to Dislocation Strengthening; the Yield point and Lüders’s strain will be explained. After that, the relationship between Strain Ageing and Dislocation Strengthening will be showed. Finally, a deep study on the effects of strainageing on Dislocation Strengthening will be introduced.
