Thermomechanical processing is part of the recrystallization process that is included in ferrous metallurgy. In this course, the dynamic recovery and dynamic recrystallization is investigated. Then, the comparison of recovery and recrystallization mechanisms is introduced. It is uses to investigate different parameters that influence the steel properties. Finally, the kinetics of dynamic recrystallization is described using mathematical model and experimental example.
