What is the difference between incremental and breakthrough innovations? We’ll deep dive into the history of innovations in data distribution to find out the differentiation of the true disruption, included, but not limited to all things social, political and economic shifts. We’ll build on disruptions from middle ages onward, looking at how distribution of data evolved and changed society and economic niches. We’ll particularly look at modern “market” and distribution strategies employed by the dominant players in the field. The lecture presents the main principles of content management and describes new business models in data distribution.
