During this course you will be introduced to 3D printing with steel, also called additive manufacturing. Starting from what is additive manufacturing? Later the different technologies and possible printing materials with special focus on metal. After that, different applications of this technology will be presented from prototyping up to production developments. Finally, the challenges and possible innovations that the lecture is facing during the research and development.
